A space for reverence

For this very reason, you are intentionally building your birth team. You want a doula that not only can hold that space with a calm presence, but also priortize the bond between your partner and yourself.

You want a small circle of dedicated support for yourself with labor, this is because you understand a fundamental truth.
Your warmth, the softness of the room, around you is the first thing your baby will ever know.

My Birth philosophy

Childrearing styles & decisions are found Alongside Childbirth

You don't have to do this alone, and you won't be. You will have your partner following your lead. As your doula, I will be there guiding you two through the process as well. I will be preserving the moments that allow you to bond with your baby and your partner. You are, and always will be my priority.

be needing to accomplish the peaceful birth you hope for. Every instinctual decision a parent makes is out of love and wanting the best for their little one. As a parent, you intuitively know what that looks like for you, Delivering your child will be the first memory that you create with your partner and your little one. It is your first steps into parenthood. This is your story you will share with them for the rest of your lives. You are a gentle, patient, and intuitive parent- and having a peaceful birth is the first step to continuing the rest of your journey of in childrearing.

Birth is vast
 & beyond ourselves-

it is also intimate,
& connected to apart of yourself.

Deep inside an alternative universe, your focus is on only one thing- the sensations in your body. Time moves quickly, and slow all at the same time. When you try to reflect on your birth experience, having photos is often the central key to drawing memory of everything that happened.

My experience influenced my photography and support methods. I am intentional with my camera and support. My priority will always be to help mothers/birthing people create the atmosphere of love to help bond with their baby and partner- uninterrupted. When you look back your photos, I hope you see the divine power of birth comes within you. Your contractions, presence, and force every experience, found within you. This is the story and memory that you are creating with your partner & your baby.

"I surrender to the process of birth, it brings my baby to me" was an affirmation my doula repeated to me during labor. There was a healing energy that surrounded me in labor. My life partner held me, I would not let him leave my side. His embrace is what grounded me. I was safe and surrounded by love. Suddenly, that process was interrupted when the hospital staff ushered me to the hospital bed, instructing me through every following stage.

"Quote or something to read."

"Eva was amazing through the birthing process. She gave me the guidance I needed beforehand and in the moment to help my wife with laboring. When our birth didn’t go as planned, she was ready with methods to help things along, words of encouragement, tools, and creating and atmosphere for my wife to be successful in the type of birth we had hoped for. Somehow through all of this, she was also able to capture incredible photos of the process. The photos we have now are great reminders of what we did during a pivotal moment in our lives as a family."

What Clayton said:

"Eva is incredible, she took our engagement photos and then was also our doula for my sons birth. My son was being born 8 weeks early and as you can imagine I was stressed, she made sure I was as calm as possible and catered to my every needs. "

what Alexis Said:

"Eva did my maternity photos, my birth photos and my family photos. She is always so professional and kind and her pictures are beautiful! She is very responsive and pays attention to little details. I was a little apprehensive about having a photographer at my birth but I am so glad I did! Eva added a great calm energy to my birth and I will forever treasure the photos she took!"

what courtney said:

"Eva was great! I texted her when I went into labor and she came right away. She was kind and confident in her role. She knew how to stay out of the way of the nurses and doctors and still get amazing photos - documenting the birth story of my first born. She conversed with my family and honestly helped the atmosphere in the room stay light and happy. I would definitely choose her again!"

what Katie Says:

"Eva is simply amazing! She came and photographed my home birth and was very flexible for me to work with. She took the time to understand what I was wanting out of the experience and she was very respectful through it all. Having a stranger in your birth space can be so tricky but she was such a calm and quiet presence. She never made me feel uncomfortable or annoyed. The photos I then got back from her were stunning. She captured the feeling of the entire event beautifully and I am so so grateful that we hired her!"

what Savannah Says:

"Eva was an integral part of bringing my son earth side. She knew when to step in and offer help vs step back and let my husband take over. My labor was 30 hours and I never once wanted her to leave. I not only brought my son safely into this world but I also have the most stunning photos to remember it by"

what Sara Says:

"I have had such an amazing experience having Eva as my Doula, she help educate me on my options and was amazing in the labor and delivery room. I was able to be in tune with my body and have a wonderful birthing experience. I imagine it would have went quite a bit differently without her there to help talk me through it. The photos I have received have been absolutely phenomenal as well!"

what Elizabeth Says:

A few of my favorites and recommendations. From the laughs, tears, milestones, it's important to have these images for our children to look back on.
